Brown Tone Print Developer (Agfa-120)

This developer will produce a variety of brown to warm black tones on various papers depending on dilution and exposure time.

STOCK SOLUTION
Chemical Amount Units
Water (125°F/52°C) 750 ml
Sodium sulfite 60 g
Hydroquinone 24 g
Potassium carbonate 80 g
Water to make 1000 ml

USING THE DEVELOPER
This developer will produce a variety of brown to warm blacktones on various papers, depending on dilution and exposure time.
Tone Desired Exposure Time Dilution Time at 68°F/20°C
Warm-black Normal 1:5 4-5 minutes
Brown-black 1½ x normal 1:4 3 minutes

Normal exposure when developed for 1-1½ minutes in Agfa 120 full strength will produce a brown-black image (Photo-Lab-Index).

NOTE
Agfa 123 includes 25 g of potassium bromide in addition to chemicals of Agfa 120.
